Wet under right side mat front/back

Hi, I own a 2010 Ford Focus ST and have found a disturbing problem... I have discovered that my mats are wet from below, the part that connects to the hard floor. It is only on the passenger side (right side of the car) under front and backseat carpets.

Have anyone had the same problem? Any answers would be much appriciated.

For most cars, when you have this issue check your heater core and the hoses connected to it. You either have a leak, or your heater core has gone bad.
Otherwise, if you have a sunroof, the drain may be plugged.

I have just had this problem, remove the inner lower cover beside footwear, if bracket is rusty and foam covering side of heater core/air con evap is wet that's your problem, there is a drain hose going to the floor trans tunnel and will be blocked, have a towel ready, also does air-conditioning blow mist?
