We love the Ford Focus RS. We really do. It packs a huge amount of performance into a practical package you could easily daily drive. In fact, we even went so far to call it a track car disguised as a practical hatchback. And it really is.
If you want proof, check out how it did when AutoCar took one to Belgium's Spa-Francorchamps. The Ford couldn't quite keep up with the Porsche Cayman GT4 it encountered, but it still performed admirably.
Yes, Ford's released plenty of videos showing the Focus RS driving on track, but it's encouraging to see it handles just as well when it's not in such a controlled environment. And when you factor in both the practicality of it and its $35,900 base price, we have to say the Focus RS is one serious performance bargain.
