We know Mountune can work magic on the Ford Fiesta ST and Focus ST, and now the tuning company has a set of products ready for the Focus RS. While there are no engine upgrades just yet, Mountune has a variety of new parts for RS owners.

Mountune’s parts list of the 2016 Ford Focus RS includes new silicone boost hoses for the turbocharger, as well as a new high-flow air filter design for the 2.3-liter turbo-four engine. There’s also a new $159 rear engine mount designed to reduce engine movement under hard shifts, and a $199 short-shift linkage that reduces throws by a claimed 25 percent. For buyers wanting to spend even more power, Mountune offers the same Quaife limited-slip front differential available on the Focus ST, for $1,099.

Perhaps the most interesting modification so is a set of OZ Racing Leggera HTL wheels specifically matched to the Focus RS’s brakes and suspension. They’re 0.5 inch wider than the factory 19-inch wheels, but Mountune claims that at just 21.8 lb per corner, they save 3.7 lb each compared to the original RS wheels.

Mountune is working on an engine computer upgrade for enhanced power, but says that the tuning process hasn’t been completed. The company’s engineers have already developed new software and have even tested it at the Nürburgring, promising that, “the power and torque improvements are very noticeable, as is the reduction in 0-60 mph time.” But because the Focus RS has launch control and available adaptive dampers, Mountune says the final calibration process is more involved than on other Ford hot hatches.

The other Mountune parts for the 2016 Ford Focus RS, however, are available to purchase now at the company’s website.
