Before the Ford Focus RS hits the streets, performance tuner Mountune already has a good selection of upgrades. While the Focus RS might not seem like it needs much to thrive, the aftermarket limited-slip differential, silicone induction ducting and short-throw shift arm all sound like reasonable improvements over the factory Ford equipment.
The prices for the parts range from the budget-performance-minded $59 high-flow air box to the $1,099 it takes to own the Quaife ATB limited-slip differential. We expect aftermarket tuners to make even more parts for the Ford Focus RS after it gets some time in the wild, but for the early adopters this looks to be the extent of what's available. Mountune has had good luck with the Ford Focus ST, so we can only assume these RS upgrades will be as solid.
Do you need them? Probably not, at least not right now. It might be best to spend some time enjoying your Focus RS before throwing money at upgrades.
