Coil Sensor Missing (??)

Got an oil change today, and the technician noticed that a spark plug or coil (?) is showing and I was missing something. I attached the photo. He also said Oil is coming through the open area, and leaving oil residue on the top of my hood.

Can I purchase one? Is it an easy fix? Any, and all help is appreciated!
