Hi all, Galo here looking for any ideas on how and who to approach at Ford to help with a service warranty issue on our 2013 Focus SFE. Short summary:
- 1st clutch repair event in 2020 at 44k miles, at dealer under warranty.
- 2nd clutch repair event on Dec 6, 2022 at 66.9k miles, also at dealership, paid out of pocket
- Today: 76,000 miles and the clutches banging and shuddering again, 2 years and 13 days after the last repair.
That's right....13 days after the repair service warrant expired and less than 10k miles after a dealer service job, the car is trash again. Ford Customer Service agrees it's unfortunate that an 'authorized dealer service' failed after less than 10k miles, but insists I am out of luck.
Five Fords in the last 25 years, but this one may be the last. Case number is CXH-03225518-Q7C0T7.
Do I have any recourse or option?
