My 2014 Focus hatchback hesitates when I accelerate from 0. Any ideas?

I have a 2013 Focus Hatchback too which hesitates from zero. It may be your purge valve. I changed mine and it helped. I also have a P0420 code and don't know if I have to get a new catalytic converter!!
